Cookware and Homebrew is a small independent business established 4 years ago on Cowick Street in the St Thomas area of Exeter. It sells a great selection of quality cookware items from saucepans to soda streams, cake tins to cafetieres, tin openers to teapots! Plus anything for jam makers.

The shop also specialise in homebrew kits and all accessories. Beer, wine and cider makers are all catered for. The shop stocks all the homebrew needs from bottles and brushes to cappers and caps!

Owner Ian says:-

I take pleasure in giving my customers excellent value for money and customer service. All my products are top quality and I now have my own range of “Cowick Homebrew” in different varieties which is proving very popular. I take time to explain to my customers step by step how to brew their own wine, beer and cider.

A regular visitor to the shop is Susy Atkins who is a well known, award winning wine writer and broadcaster. She writes for the Sunday Telegraph magazine each weekend and has appeared on Saturday Kitchen.

Ben Bradshaw, Labour MP for Exeter has also popped in for a thermos flask!

The Cookware & Homebrew Story

Ian has always been happiest in a shop retail environment, meeting people, giving help and advice. He previously ran a successful aquatic and pet shops in Exeter which his daughter is now doing with her specialised business, Kendall’s Parrot & Aviary.

Homebrew has always been a hobby of mine and to turn this hobby into a business is fantastic!
