Erin Cox creates beautiful handmade jewellery in platinum, gold and silver. As a jeweller, Erin is proud to offer bespoke pieces to people wanting quality and individuality – jewellery which is lovingly crafted by hand but that doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

Erin takes great pride in bringing breath-taking depth, colour and texture to each piece she makes.

Erin says:-

A beautiful piece of jewellery becomes a part of a person’s life story. It will be passed down through generations to become a part of the family’s story and a piece of history. I love that I can be a part of that process

The boutique shop in Castle Street also showcases work by other designers – including jewellery, textiles, lighting and ceramics. Occasional solo exhibitions by artists make this a wonderful place to see something a little different.

Believing that word of mouth is the best form of advertising, Erin relies on offering great customer service and unique, high quality products. The Castle Street shop has a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Erin’s staff (Laura and Jasmine) are both skilled jewellers and full of knowledge and passion.

Erin is a traditional jeweller who studied at London Guildhall University’s prestigious Sir John Cass Department of Art. Erin employs the professional jewellery making skills she learned, with creative eye for design, producing stunning jewellery pieces that become future heirlooms.

The Erin Cox Story

Erin was born and raised in Exeter.

She says:-

I worked my way through university and set up my business as soon as I graduated. I have worked in jewellery shops and galleries in London, and Exeter. I have also worked as a Dungeon Keeper in the London Dungeons and have sold shotguns in Dorset and worked in pubs in New Zealand. I love to travel, but ultimately Exeter is home

Erin is a member of the British Jewellers Association and a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce)
