Exeter’s Coffee Stop

McGahey’s is a pavement and take away Café. It serves coffee renowned for its flavour as well as Tea and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Every drink is made to your own requirement. All the hot drinks are fair-trade and where ever possible, organic.

The pavement tables are a wonderful place to sit and watch the city go by.

An Exeter Family Business

This has been a family enterprise run by 3 generations of the McGahey family and it is possible to trace its roots here in the heart of Exeter back to 1880

Before the Coffee Stop was started five years ago, the business here was purely a specialist tobacconist. Now on the corner of High St and Castle St, three business operate, the specialist retail tobacconist, the mail order side of the business and the Coffee Stop.
